In the bulletin last week, Portugal no longer had municipalities at extreme risk of infection, which had not happened since the beginning of July however, the latest report shows that the municipality of Barrancos is at this level.
In the explanatory note of the data by municipality, it is stated that the cumulative incidence "corresponds to the quotient between the number of new confirmed cases in the 14 days prior to the moment of analysis and the estimated resident population".
At very high risk, that is, with an incidence of between 480 and 959.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, there are seven municipalities: Albufeira (489), Alcoutim (674), São Brás de Alportel (501), Celorico da Beira ( 519), Penela (594), Povoa de Lanhoso (489) and Vidigueira (566).
Between 240 and 479.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days, the bulletin reports the existence of 19 municipalities in these conditions, 18 fewer than in the last analysis.
According to the bulletin, between 120 and 239.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days are 78 municipalities, 35 less than in the previous week.
With zero cases of infection between 09 and 22 and September, there are 17 of the 308 municipalities: Alter do Chão, Lajes das Flores, Lajes do Pico, Porto Santo, Povoação, Santa Cruz das Flores, S. João da Pesqueira, Calheta (Azores ), Miranda do Douro, Nordeste, São Vicente, Oleiros, Velas, Vila de Rei, Vila Velha de Rodão, Vila do Porto and Vimioso.
