In a statement, the Department of Branding and Communication of the Municipality of Lisbon ensures that, however, “all access and pedestrian circulation will be guaranteed in safe conditions”.
According to the municipality, the Alameda dos Oceanos (between the roundabout of the Vice-Reis and the Avenida do Pacífico) will have a cut in circulation from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm from today until Thursday, with the cycle path passing through this section.
During the same period, traffic will be cut off on Alameda dos Oceanos (from the roundabout of Vice-Reis), as well as on Avenida da Boa Esperança (from the roundabout of Vice-Reis) and on Rua do Polo Norte with Avenida do Mar Vermelho, towards Avenida do Atlântico.
As alternatives, the Lisbon City Council points out the scooter and bicycle park on Rua do Polo Norte, four places on Avenida do Índico for people with disabilities and two TVDE zones on Avenida do Mar Vermelho (between Rua do Polo Norte and Rua do Polo Norte and the boulevard of the oceans).
The municipality also refers to the strengthening of public transport, with the creation of a Carris route between Praça do Comércio and Gare do Oriente, and the taxi ranks at Gare do Oriente and Casino de Lisboa.
That's good for Portugal, the new technologies will also help Portugal become more developed in the internet, and with better communication through the web.
