In response to a question sent by Lusa, the DGS clarified that in the guideline that defines the rules applicable to bars and clubs, it only provides for the mandatory use of masks by the respective workers, but "recommends the use of a certified community mask or surgical mask in the community, in all interior spaces, whenever possible (in particular, in this case, when the respective users are not dancing or drinking)".
"The use of masks in the community constitutes an additional measure of protection in relation to the measures in force for the prevention and control of infection", said the DGS, referring to the new measures to combat Covid-19 that came into force on 1 December.
REALLY! Recommended only, NOT mandatory? It is now easy for me to understand why so many people online are thinking that the government wants to make "Big Pharma" rich and keep this thing going. It's a proven scientific FACT that N-95 masks prevent the spread of particles that produce the virus and other infections so IF you want to stop the spread please change your "recommendation" to "mandate" masks everywhere indoors so people know you have good intentions and you are NOT confusing them with some places are ok. I saw the comment on the other article about masks not required in the clubs and now I understand why he made the comment about someone receiving a little brown envelope; you are confusing people and they will lose trust in your guidance if you don't make "blanket" rules for everyone!

It must be clear by now that nor mask, nor vaccine, nor social distance, nor disinfectations will stop or slow the virus down. The evidence is overwhelming that this whole circus is pointless. Finally politicians are standing up now and debating PM decisions.
