This concert celebrates a tribute of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Belgium harmonicist and jazz magician, Toots Thielemans, who is known for being one of the greatest jazz harmonica players ever!

Toots has had several collaborations throughout his long career, marking his name in the 60s throughout the Bossa Nova era. It was during this era that Toots like many Jazz musicians will have stood out in the history of Bossa Nova with Stan Getz being perhaps the greatest example but there were many others. One of Toots most famous collaborations was with the great voice of Bossa distinct artist Ellis Regina. Gonçalo Sousa promises a fantastic celebration with the wonderful Luanda Cozette, who will be the voice of Brazil in this spectacular concert which promises a night that revisits and brings to life songs like Corcovado, Desafinado, Bluesette, Stardust or Chega de Saudade. The “100’s Toots & Ellis” concert costs eight euros and tickets can be purchased on www.ticketline.sapo.pt or by calling 282 380 452.
