According to the updated figures, Portugal has a daily average of 2.25 deaths per million inhabitants attributed to the disease in the last seven days, below the European Union average.
Of the EU countries, Latvia has the highest average (9.26), followed by Estonia (8.3), Lithuania (8.1), Bulgaria (7.25) and Denmark (6.9).
And while other European countries have dropped all restrictions, including masks, we are still forced to wear them in the supermarket. Why is that?
