In February, “all regions showed positive year-on-year variations in housing rents, with the Algarve (with 2.7%), Madeira and Lisbon (both with 2.6%) registering the most intense increases”.

As for the average value of housing rents per square metre, there was a monthly rise of 0.3%, a rate 0.1 percentage points higher than in the previous month.

The regions with the highest positive monthly variation were the Azores and Lisbon, with rates of 0.6% and 0.3%, respectively, with no region having a negative variation in the respective average value of housing rents.
