According to information from IPMA, the districts of Viseu, Évora, Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Santarém, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra and Portalegre are under a yellow warning between 9 am and 9 pm on Monday due to forecasts of “showers, sometimes heavy, occasionally with hail and accompanied by thunder”.

In the Guarda district, there is also a yellow warning due to snowfall between today and Tuesday, with the IPMA warning of possible disruptions due to the fall and accumulation of snow and possible formation of ice, namely conditioned or closed roads, damage to structures or trees or impaired local supplies.

The possible snowfall also places the district of Vila Real under a yellow warning between 6 am and 12 pm on Monday, as well as the districts of Castelo Branco and Braga.

In the districts of Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja and Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga there is a yellow warning due to rough seas, with waves between four and five meters high.

The IPMA also placed the districts of Faro, Setúbal, Santarém and Lisbon under yellow warning due to the wind, with forecast gusts of up to 75 km/hour, especially on the coast.
