In the context of prices, whose evolution is determined through the Residential Price Index considering the annual variation rate in the 4th quarter of the year, the cooling of the increase observed in Porto is common to Lisbon, as well as to other markets in the Porto Metropolitan Area, namely Vila Nova de Gaia, Maia, Gondomar and Valongo.
Notwithstanding this slowdown, Porto continues to be one of the markets in the Metropolitan Area with the highest price growth, surpassed only in 2024 by the municipalities of Espinho (8.6%), Póvoa de Varzim (12.0%) and Vila do Conde (16.9%).
