Spaces on the Summer Camp, which runs from July 4 to 15, 2022 are highly sought after due to the high caliber of instructors and unique activities available.

Among the most popular options is the 2D Animation course which is designed for aspiring digital artists. Using Krita software participants will learn character design, colour theory, and animation with expert Nick Welch.

Budding filmmakers have the opportunity to experience film set collaboration and production culminating in the making of a short film screened for parents and guests. Film Making for Teens is overseen by renowned director, writer, and filmmaker Hermano Moreira and Michele Lavele in association with AIC (Academia Internacional de Cinema).


A new addition to the programme is skateboarding catering to the growing popularity of the sport following the 2020 Olympic Games. The course is ideal for beginners and the more experienced with coaches from Sporting Clube de Portugal—including nine-year-old national championship runner-up Tomás Godinho—and utilising fantastic new facilities and state-of-the-art boards and safety equipment.

For young gymnasts aged three to five, there are special classes in acrobatic gymnastics under the tutelage of the former prize-winning gymnast and national coach and trainer, Mariana Vieira.

Other activities include Darte Project--developing creativity, critical thinking, and socio-emotional skills through different artistic styles and themes; Dance under the guidance of teachers from Jazzy Dance Studios; and Swimming with experienced instructors from Sporting Clube de Portugal.


United Lisbon International School opened in 2020 next to the Park of Nations with international English-language academic programmes from Early Childhood (3 years old) till grade 12 (IB DP).
