The period of isolation due to Covid-19 will go from seven
to five days and the alert situation due to the pandemic will remain until the
end of July, the Minister of the Presidency announced today.
“The Directorate-General for Health communicated to the
Minister of Health the intention to pass the isolation period from seven to
five days”, Mariana Vieira da Silva told journalists at the press conference
held after the Council of Ministers.
The minister also advanced that the Government “has approved
the resolution of the Council of Ministers that renews the declaration of the state
of alert throughout the mainland within the scope of the Covid-19 disease
pandemic until the end of July”.
According to the minister, in the coming days there will be
news, regarding maintaining the rules for the use of masks in certain
situations, such as on public transport.
Mariana Vieira da Silva also added that the digital
certificate will no longer be required to enter the country, however official guidelines
have yet to be updated.
Interesting, so will that mean everyone needs a covid test before entry or nobody needs a test, It can only be one or the other.
