The Lota Cool Market, organised by Teia D’Impulsos is taking place at the old Portimão fish market in Zona Ribeirinha from 6pm until 1am.

Portimão’s Lota Cool Market is running from the 21st of July until the 24th of July and has free entry.

Branded the coolest market in the South, you are not going to want to miss out on this, especially if you are an eco-warrior as the market’s motto is “eCOOLogical vibes”. At the market you will find eco-friendly crafts, local artisans, fantastic concerts and something for the youngest members of the family with children’s theatre by TIPO- Teatro Infantil de Portimão and inflatables, and best of all they promise a fantastic gastronomic experience with a wide variety of food trucks from producers from all over the country, so you are bound to find something delicious. Some of the unmissable eats include cookies, milkshakes, artisanal cheeses, dried fruits, traditional sweets, ice cream, crepes and alcoholic beverages like Caipirinhas.

When it comes to the concerts, each day they will take place at 10pm with first up on the “Choque Frontal ao Vivo” stage being the band SouthKick, an Algarvian band that does covers from the 50s to the 2000’s, with their special guest, pianist João Vila Nova on the 21st of July. On the 22nd of July there will be Gabriel de Rose, followed by The Mirandas on the 23rd of July and on the last night, the 24th of July Black Puzzle will take to the stage.
