A 30-year-old man has
been identified by authorities for kicking a ball at a plane and striking the
aircraft while it was flying at low altitude over Praia das Maças in Sintra.

I wonder some times! Strange that an aircraft is allowed to fly so low over people on a beach. I wonder what happens if the engine cuts out and aircraft crashes on the beach killing a couple of people!!! Who is then the "stupid & bozo"? The pilot?? Then again would not happen that day - God was on his side and overseeing the event.

Low flying planes = accidents = someone misses a loved one.

What the aircraft doing flying so low?? How high can a person kick a "plastic" football?? Permission from airtraffic control to fly so low over people on a beach? What would happen if the engine cuts out??? How many would die??? So lots of different "bozos" on the beach and flying over the beach.......

The minimum legal height for flying over any group of people is 500' - even Ronaldo at his peak could not kick a ball that high ! The pilot should be prosecuted for low, dangerous flying not the spectator.
