According to a report by CNN Portugal, the rise comes after
the Government decided to extend the tax cut on Petroleum Products (ISP) until
the end of October, and also decided to reduce that cut by four cents in the
case of gasoline, which led to a rise in the sale price of this fuel to the
public last Tuesday.
If the rise in fuel prices is confirmed, next week the litre
of diesel will continue to be slightly more expensive than the litre of
gasoline. A litre of diesel should be sold, on average, at 1.87 euros and a litre
petrol should be sold at 1.82 euros per litre.
At the beginning of this week, the average selling price for
petrol to the public was 1.7 euros and that of diesel was 1.75 euros.
People, you got the Govt you asked for! Taxes taxes taxes while admin staff run around in high-end BMWs. Utter foolishness.
