The data was advanced by the Minister of Labour, Solidarity
and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, during a hearing at the Budget and
Finance Committee as part of the discussion in the specialty of the proposed
State Budget for 2023 (OE2023).
According to Ana Mendes Godinho, so far “about 55,000
workers” have registered on the website of the Instituto do Emprego e Formação
Profissional (IEFP) to express interest in looking for a job in Portugal.
Ana Mendes Godinho highlighted the “extraordinary evolution
since 2015” regarding foreign workers who declare remuneration to Social
Security, indicating that in 2015 there were “110,000 foreign people
contributing to the Social Security system” and in 2022 this number is 530,000”.
Portugal is the back door to the EU for all those foreign migrants.

It has a reason why they dont tell where these workers come from and which position they should work for. I bet they dont apply to be the next CEO of any PT company. Portugal be careful that you dont do the same as Germany has done and still is doing, letting in anybody from countries that have no respect for European culture neither religon.
