"After a lifetime dedicated to aviation, captain Javier Gomis took his last flight. And alongside someone very special: his daughter Maria, co-pilot of Iberia. On the same day her father retired, she piloted an A330 for the first time in command. Congratulations to both of you for this unforgettable moment and thank you, Javier. We wish you all the best for this new phase", says the Iberia publication.

The company also shared two photographs of the father and daughter who starred in this very special moment.
