The supermarket group "currently has 125 stores in Portugal (including the new store) and, according to its expansion objectives, intends to open 25 stores in 2023, expanding its offer throughout the country", according to a statement from the company.
The new space in Abrantes, "complements the commercial offer of the Retail Park of Abrantes, which did not have a supermarket, and allowed the creation of around 20 jobs locally".
Would love to see Aldi opening up in Sertã, as the offering of organic food in existing stores is not impressive.
