According to data from the Bank of Portugal, Portuguese people working abroad sent 981.19 million euros to Portugal in the first three months of this year, which represents an increase of 4% compared to the 943.63 million sent in January to March 2022.

Looking only at March, the rise was slightly higher, as it increased by 4.34%, representing the evolution between the 290.7 million sent from January to March 2022 and the 303.35 million sent in the same period of this year.

In the opposite direction, foreigners working in Portugal sent 144.33 million euros in the first quarter of this year, which represents an increase of 15.16% compared to the 125.33 million sent from January to March 2022.
