The luxury developments which are most expensive square meter (m2) in Portugal are located in the districts of Lisbon, Faro and Porto, according to data from RE/MAX Collection for 2022.

In this segment, the average sales value per m2 in Lisbon was 3,593.64 euros, in Faro 2,509.15 euros and in Porto 2,473.02 euros.

"Last year, Lisbon once again became the district with the highest average value per square meter in the luxury segment, as in previous years. Despite the scarcity of supply in the real estate market and the forecast of a rise in Euribor until the end of the year, in the first half there was an increase in the supply of new luxury developments", said, in a statement, the executive president of RE/MAX Collection, Beatriz Rubio.
