“Lisbon Metropolitano suggests using the online platform to request the Navegante Card, which reduces waiting time in queues and simplifies the entire process”.

According to the company, in recent days there has been a significant increase in demand for the Navegante card, both due to the request for new cards by new students in Lisbon, and also due to the renewal of existing cards.

The Navegante card is a monthly pass that can be used on public transport in the 18 municipalities of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (Alcochete, Almada, Amadora, Barreiro, Cascais, Lisbon, Loures, Mafra, Moita, Montijo, Odivelas, Oeiras, Palmela, Seixal, Sesimbra, Setúbal, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira.
