The suspensions, which takes place on one of the busiest weekends of the year, will hold back thousands of passengers, reports the France-Presse agency.

According to the British agency PA, trains were canceled due to flooding in a tunnel in southern England.

The same agency says that cancellations should continue until the end of the day because heavy rains are forecast.
