The 21 new bus shelters in Lagoa have been decorated with “images of the most emblematic places in the local area”.

Five of these shelters are located in the Parish of Ferragudo, 13 in the Union of Parishes of Estômbar and Parchal, and three in the Union of Parishes of Lagoa and Carvoeiro.

According to the Chamber, “the new bus shelters belong to a new generation of urban furniture, which have USB ports that allow users to charge electronic devices for personal use, such as cell phones while waiting for buses to arrive”.

The Municipality of Lagoa also took advantage of this opportunity to “promote the beauty of the municipality and the best it has to offer, decorating the shelters with traditional elements from the municipality, as well as emblematic places and beaches, known all over the world".
