The event, one of the largest in the country, will take place from 14 to 18 August, in an area of 17 hectares, on the banks of the Ceira River, a tributary of the Mondego River, where there are river beaches.

According to Nuno Bandeira, president of the Góis Motorcycle Club, the pre-sale of tickets currently underway has already seen registrations from motorcyclists from 17 countries.

“We expect a turnout of between 20 and 22 thousand people”, stressed the leader, dismissing any comparison with the Faro gathering and reminding that the Góis gathering is a “family gathering of people who love nature”.

On the 17th (Saturday), the Góis International Motorcycle Gathering will host a women’s gathering for the second time, which in 2023 had around 600 participants.

“Last year was a success because more and more women are riding motorbikes, so they deserve this distinction and their own space with their own programme”, added Nuno Bandeira.

For this year’s edition, the organisation has expanded the camping area by another three hectares, bringing the total to 10 hectares, which allows a total capacity of 15 thousand people to camp.

The number of toilets has also been increased and the cleaning teams have been doubled.

The event features a diverse musical lineup, with three bands performing each night on the main stage, as well as entertainment on the river and in the streets, Vespa and Mini-Trail events, and a motorcycle fair, which has 150 registered stallholders.

On the opening day, August 14 (Wednesday), the highlight of the musical entertainment will be the performance by the Americans Ugly Kid Joe.

The Portuguese singer Toy will headline the 15th (Thursday) and Jorge Palma will perform the following day (Friday).

On the 17th (Saturday), David Antunes and & The Midnight Band and Moonspell will take to the stage.
