The median bank appraisal value for housing was 1,695 euros per square meter (m2) in September, 154 euros more (10.0%) year-on-year and 31 euros (1.9% ) above the August value.

According to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE), in comparison with September 2023, the most intense variation was recorded in the West and Tagus Valley (12.8%), and there were no drops in any region.
In relation to August this year, the Algarve showed the most significant increase (2.6%), with the most intense drop occurring in Alentejo (-0.5%).
