In a message published on the Finance Portal, AT says that, in the case of emails, those targeted are invited to follow a link provided to them, which they should not do because it is a fraudulent scheme.

In fraudulent text messages, recipients are induced to make a payment to supposedly regularise their tax situation.

"These messages are false and should be ignored", as their sole objective "is to convince the recipient to access malicious pages by clicking on the suggested links or to make undue payments", warns the AT, highlighting that under no circumstances should taxpayers carry out the operations indicated.
