According to APAL, the activity plan for 2025, which was approved at the General Assembly, “establishes several objectives that include strengthening the “Albufeira” brand, attracting new associates, strengthening and implementing new communication strategies and strengthening investment in digital marketing”.

“The approved document includes several promotional actions distributed throughout the year. Highlights include the various workshops and roadshows that APAL plans to organise, namely in Porto and the North of Portugal, Spain (Seville and Madrid), Ireland (Cork and Dublin), United Kingdom, United States and Canada (New York and Toronto)”, reads the information released.

This plan foresees that, in 2025, APAL will participate in the BTL – Lisbon Tourism Exchange, with its own stand, and an in-person action is also planned to take place in the French market.

Also planned is the support and organisation of fam and press trips aimed at the German, Irish, United Kingdom and Nordic countries markets, as well as the reinforcement of online promotion and the development of digital campaigns, with APAL explaining that the objective is to launch “campaigns targeted at specific markets that can promote products, specific times of the year, opportunities and promotions”.

“With this plan, APAL reaffirms its role as an entity serving the tourist development of Albufeira, strengthening the destination’s presence in international markets and reinforcing its competitive positioning in the sector”, the agency further states.
