The districts of Faro, Setúbal and Beja are under orange warning until 6 pm, while Porto, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga maintain the warning until midnight on Sunday, according to a statement from IPMA.
Guarda and Castelo Branco are also under orange warning until midnight on Sunday due to snowfall above 1,200 to 1,400 meters.
The orange warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a moderate to high risk meteorological situation.
The passage of depression Martinho, with strong rain, wind and sea agitation, caused thousands of incidents on the Portuguese mainland, most of which were fallen trees and structures, especially in the early hours of Thursday.
Roads, ports, railway lines, public spaces, housing, sports facilities, vehicles and energy and water services were affected, especially in the regions of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley, in the Center and the South.
