Portugal is Europe’s top travel destination

Portugal has been voted the best travel destination in Europe for the fourth year in a row in the 2020 World Travel Awards, also known as the Oscars of Tourism.

Porto won the award for the best city break destination in Europe, Lisbon was named the best European cruise destination and the Algarve is again the best beach travel destination in Europe.

In total, Portugal received 21 awards in the various categories.

How much bribery did Portugal pay for this nonsense?

Portugal is the worst country in Europe for corruption and bribery. The country is still in the dark ages with aging councils and uneducated school leaders brainwashing students.

Portugal will always be a backwards country because the people aren't intelegent enough to make it better.

I vote The Netherlands as the best weekend city break.

Hola, no lo dudo. Estuve en Portugal 3 días , un agente de aduanas fue el únicoque se portó mal. Por lo demás es precioso, limpio, con buenos precios. Deseo que esto del COVID termine para volver por mas tiempo a ver si cuando me retire me mudo a ese país por un tiempo. Se lo recomiendo a cualquiera. It is beautiful affordable and very friendly. I recommend it.

The friendliest people in Europe live in Portugal, as well as the most generous. Visiting Portugal is like meeting family. Even the dogs are friendly.
