Here are the results of the previous elections to give an idea of how parties may perform this time around.

The two largest parties in Portugal, PS and PSD, achieved the best results in percentage terms, above 50%, in Alto Alentejo and Trás-os-Montes in the 2022 legislative elections.

The record percentage was for the PSD, with 58.34%, in Boticas (Vila Real district), despite the reduced number of votes – 1,937 – in this orange municipality since 1975. The PS has the second 'score', with 57.83 %, in the municipality of Gavião (Portalegre), corresponding to 1,130 votes.

The four municipalities where Chega, the third largest party at the national level two years ago, obtained the highest percentage (between 18.73% and 16.32%) are located in Alentejo: Elvas (Portalegre), Moura (Beja), Monforte ( Portalegre) and Mourão (Évora).

The Liberal Initiative had its best result in the municipality of Lisbon, with 10.59%.

The CDU had the highest votes in 10 municipalities in Alentejo, starting with Avis (30.80%), in the district of Portalegre, while the Bloco de Esquerda had 7.12% in Vila do Bispo, in the district of Faro, not very far from the municipality – Lagos – where the PAN had the highest value (2.73%).
