TVI24 broke this news, quoting the former President of the Portuguese Medical Association, Germano de Sousa, who currently oversees clinical analysis laboratories.
De Sousa reportedly said this testing scenario is feasible. This comes at a time when the numbers of new Covid cases are beginning to drop significantly in Portugal when compared to January pandemic indicators.
Of course numbers are dropping...flu season is over. Just like last year. So very soon many people from Lisbon will come down to the Algarve again, rent a small apartment with 10 people, party and drink all night. After summer, cases will go up again. But then unvaccinated people will be blamed.
