The DGS portal is available for people to schedule the administration of the two vaccines simultaneously, but at the vaccination centre the user can choose to take only one of them, explained the DGS.
Also, people aged 80 or over will be able to go to a vaccination centre as part of the “open house” programme, but they should first check the hours of the centres in their residence and try to also choose to attend in the afternoons when there are generally fewer people at the centres, advises the DGS.
This booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 must be carried out with the vaccines from Moderna (Spikevax) or from Pfizer (Comirnaty), at least six months (180 days) after the complete vaccination, according to the General Directorate of Health (DGS).
"The co-administration of the two vaccines is having a great acceptance by the population, exceeding the 90 percent acceptance in several places of the country", assured the General Directorate, warning that "vaccination is essential, especially at this time of year, when an increase in respiratory viruses is expected alongside falling temperatures which can exacerbate health issues.”
Please tell me when we can be offered a booster for the Jansson?? We cannot mix them according to all medical advice and research.
