A fire which broke out yesterday (22 July) in Silves at 20.53 is now considered to be under control.

At its peak, the fire was being fought by122 personnel in the Vale Grande de Baixo, municipality of Silves, in the district of Faro.
At 11.27, 44 personnel were still on the ground but the fire was considered to be in conclusion.
