The IPMA also put around 80 other municipalities in the districts of Bragança, Vila Real, Porto, Viseu, Guarda, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria, Portalegre, Santarém, Beja and Faro at high risk of fire.

The fire risk determined by the IPMA has five levels, ranging from reduced to maximum.

The calculations are obtained from the air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and amount of precipitation in the last 24 hours.

Maximum temperatures will vary between 18º in Braga and 29º in Évora.
