The warning in the four districts will be in force between
03:00 and 12:00 on Saturday, changing to yellow until 18:00 on Sunday.
Viseu, Vila Real, Coimbra will also be under orange warning
due to rain, but yellow between 06:00 and 18:00 on Saturday and 06:00 and 21:00
on Sunday.
The IPMA has also issued an orange warning for the districts
of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga because
of sea disturbance, forecasting northwest waves with 5 to 6 meters between
03:00 and 21:00 on Sunday, then changing to yellow.
The districts of Faro, Setúbal and Beja are also under
yellow warning due to sea disturbances, forecasting northwest waves with 4 to 5
meters between 06:00 on Sunday and 00:00 on Monday.
Additionally, the districts of Bragança, Guarda, Vila Real
will have a yellow warning, but due to the forecast of persistent fog, which
will be icy in some places, until 21:00 today.
The orange warning indicates moderate to high risk weather
situation and yellow is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for
certain activities dependent on the weather situation.
I see Porto trending on twitter today and the main reason is that it is flooded.
