Between the 1st and 2nd of February - the C/2022 E3 (ZTF) comet
will be at a distance of just 44,000 kilometres from earth. A pass this close will
only happen again in 50,000 years, so it is worth taking a look up to see the
comet which has a azykada-green hue.
For ideal observation conditions, it is recommended that you
choose a location far from artificial light sources and that you look at the
sky, in the direction of the constellation Ursa Minor. Even if the comet is
observable with the naked eye, if you use binoculars you will have a better
view.
That should be 44 million km not 44,000.
