Valentine's Day today will see a decrease in precipitation and cloudiness across almost the entire country and a "small rise in temperature, especially the maximum in the North and Centre regions".

If you are going to travel with your partner, avoid the Algarve region, where the rain is set to continue, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).

In Lisbon, Leiria, Santarém, and Setúbal, periods of light rain are forecast, but only at the end of the day.

Night temperatures will be cool, with some frost in the interior, especially at the end of the day, but the maximum will reach 20°C in some regions of the North and Centre, such as Aveiro, Porto, and Braga.
