The districts of Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Vila Real, Castelo Branco, Aveiro and Portalegre have a yellow warning until 09:00 on Wednesday due to the persistence of low minimum temperatures.
According to the IPMA, the yellow warning for the districts of Beja, Lisbon, Santarém and Évora starts at 00:00 on Tuesday and ends at 09:00 on Wednesday.
The IPMA predicts for today on the continent cold weather with slightly cloudy or clear skies, with periods of greater cloudiness on the central coast and in the southern region until mid-afternoon.
The forecast also points to the formation of ice or frost, especially in the interior North and Centre, and a sharp drop in temperature night temperatures, especially in the interior North and Centre.
The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between -4 degrees Celsius (in Bragança and Guarda) and 8 (in Lisbon and Faro) and the maximum between 4 (in Guarda) and 18 (in Faro).
