The events are free of charge to attend with identical morning and afternoon sessions bringing together speakers on subjects such as residency (for non-EU nationals), taxation, health insurance, education and currency exchange. Before and after each seminar session and during a coffee-break, guests have the change to meet with the speakers and their team members in an exhibition area adjoining the seminar room.

The Living in Portugal events are organised by the Open Media Group and include seminars in other countries such as the USA where a roadshow was held on February 9 and 11 respectively in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The next USA events are scheduled to take place in June. In the Algarve, the company also organises regular seminar events with the next Living in the Algarve show taking place on April 19 at the Tivoli Carvoeiro Hotel: livinginthealgarve.pt
