The Financial Directive 2023, approved this week by the Secretary of State for Civil Protection, Patrícia Gaspar, establishes the State's contribution to expenses resulting from interventions by fire brigades in the different operational provisions of civil protection, namely in DECIR.

In addition to the increase in the daily amount that each volunteer firefighter will receive, from 61 to 64 euros, the daily contribution to command elements also rises from 71 to 74.7 euros, according to the financial directive, which Lusa had access to.

The document also contemplates a 5.1% increase in the amount of daily payments made to the personnel that integrate the intervention teams and other reinforcement groups.
