Ryanair/Groundlink workers, who provide ground handling to the low-cost airline, have called for a full strike on July 30th and 31st and August 5th and 6th, in addition to a partial stoppage until October.
In a statement, the Union of Aviation and Airport Workers (Sitava) said that “a strike notice was delivered today to Ryanair and Groundlink, for all additional work, starting at 00:00 on the 24th of July 2023 and until October 31, 2023, as well as total stoppage on July 30th and 31st and August 5th and 6th”.
“In the absence of a positive response from the company, workers have no choice but to fight for their rights”.
