In information sent exclusively to The Portugal News, Portimão’s City Hall said that the works being done in the space where the old Residencial 3 Castelos was placed will now be constructed as a home with two floors, occupying the same area as the old Residential.
The city council assured that the works are being done under the license of “the Portuguese Environment Agency and by the Portimão’s City Council”, however, “due to technical requirements, the implantation of the house will be set back next to Avenida Tomás Cabreira, in the section that connects the Miradouro area to Rua da Falésia.”
As mentioned in the statement sent to The Portugal News, the space for sales that existed will not exist anymore, adding that the works being carried out not are of “containment of the cliffs”, which was demanded by the entities of the private owner of the land.
