Lisbon: The fine weather is to continue in the capital with highs of 31 degrees and lows of 17 degrees expected. A mixture of sunshine and intermittent cloud cover is forecast with northerly winds.

The north: Cloud cover is set to increase on Thursday but there will still be sunny spells with temperatures peaking at 26 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.

The centre: Clear skies and high temperatures are expected for the bank holiday with highs of 31 degrees and lows of 14 degrees, with the good weather set to continue on Friday.

The south: Intermittent cloud cover and sunshine are forecast for Thursday when temperatures are to reach highs of 29 degrees and drop to lows of only 19 degrees. Temperatures are to rise further on Friday.

Madeira: Hazy high cloud is expected on Thursday with maximum highs of 31 degrees and lows of 26 degrees. The good weather is to continue over the weekend.

The Azores: Showers are to continue over the bank holiday but there will be some sunny spells and temperatures are to hit highs of 25 degrees with lows of 22 degrees.
