"Mercadona opens next November in Alverca, Vila Franca de Xira", says the Spanish group, in a statement, without disclosing, however, the opening day.

According to the Spanish group, "this new supermarket will generate around 90 new, stable and quality jobs, with open-ended contracts from day one, thus contributing to the creation of local jobs".

For this store in Alverca, Mercadona "continues with its recruitment processes, offering job opportunities for various schedules: full-time, part-time and night shifts".

The brand's supermarket will open in Torres Vedras, on November 2nd and "will generate around 90 new, stable and quality jobs".

"The opening of this supermarket also reflects the continuity of the company's expansion plan in Portugal since, after four years since the first opening, it will be Mercadona's 47th store in our country".
