The strike could also affect the circulation of trains on the 1st, 3rd and 5th of January 2024, explains CP.
On strike days, minimum services are guaranteed, with Alfa Pendular and Intercidades, Regional, InterRegional and International, Porto Urban Trains, Coimbra Urban Trains and Lisbon Urban Trains expected to circulate.
All information about the minimum guaranteed train services can be found on the CP website.
CP also states that, for customers who have already purchased tickets to travel on the Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, International, InterRegional and Regional services, the railway transport company will refund the full value of the ticket or exchange it free of charge for another train on the same category and class.
Refunds or exchanges can be made on the myCP platform in the "Your tickets" area (for tickets purchased online and in the CP app) up to 15 minutes before the train leaves the customer's home station, or at any ticket office.
After this period, and up to 10 days after the end of the strike, a refund can be requested by filling out the online contact form in the "Refund for delay or suppression" area, including a scan of the original ticket, concludes the CP, on the same note.
Strikes and protests should be banned as done in the gulf. These only cause problems to the common people.
