The impressive landing was filmed and published on the Madeira Airport Spotting YouTube page. In the images it is possible to see that the plane approaches the runway on 26 March and, with some difficulty, manages to land the front wheel of the aircraft on the runway. Only then did the rear wheels follow suit.
According to the YouTube page, flight TP9576 was coming from Porto Santo and was not carrying any passengers.
Gust of wind reached 84km per hour yesterday on the island.
Impressive is definately not the correct heading for this article. In fact a go around would have been the correct procedure on this landing approach. Planes are not designed to land nose first. Not the landing I would want to experience as a passenger!

Possibly the WORST landing Ever.
The pilot should have performed a 'Go Around'.
Landing nose wheel first is forbidden and who ever was handling the aircraft should be retrained.
It was a very serious mistake.
