In a statement, IP explained that this new traffic cut will occur in the Aveiro/Guarda direction of the old IP5, between the junction with Estrada Nacional 229 (kilometre 93,400) and the junction with Estrada Nacional 2 (kilometre 90,400).

IP expects the traffic cut to end on the 14th and guarantees that “the work and the respective detour will be properly signposted”.

“We would like to thank you for your better understanding of any inconvenience that conditioning may cause, as this is necessary to allow the proper execution of this work and guarantee the safety of workers and road users”.

Since last year, several traffic restrictions have occurred due to paving work in this area of ​​the old IP5.
