The unemployment rate stood at 6.7% in November, 0.1 percentage points above October and the highest value since October 2023, according to provisional data released by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

"The unemployment rate was 6.7%, higher than that of October (0.1 percentage point), that of August 2024 (0.3 percentage point) and that of November 2023 (0.2 percentage point) ”, says INE in the “Monthly Employment and Unemployment Estimates”.
This is the “highest level since October 2023, when it equalled this value [6.7%]”.
