The districts of Lisbon, Bragança Guarda, Leiria, Castelo Branco and Coimbra will be under a yellow warning until 3pm and Viseu, Évora, Porto, Faro, Vila Real, Setúbal, Santarém, Viana do Castelo, Beja, Aveiro, Portalegre and Braga until end of the day.

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) also placed the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga under yellow warning due to strong winds from the southwest with gusts of up to 75 kilometres per hour (km/h) on the coast and up to 95 km/h in high areas between 3 am and 12 pm on Wednesday.

The districts of Braga, Coimbra, Aveiro, Beja, Leiria, Lisbon, Viana do Castelo, Setúbal, Faro and Porto will also be under yellow warning between 6am and 6pm on Wednesday due to sea unrest, with southwest waves expected with 4 to 5 meters, becoming northwesterly waves.
