The GNR says that the planned inspection actions, through the Coastal Control Unit, will take place in several places in the country, with the main focus on the area surrounding the auctions and markets, and establishments selling this type of product.

"Taking into account that the New Year festivities are a festive time when there is an increase in the consumption of fish and bivalves, the establishments that sell them need a greater supply, which potentially causes an increase in flows of these foodstuffs".
