Leaving a session at Infarmed, in Lisbon, António Lacerda Sales informed that, as part of a “continuous process”, it was decided to reserve another “exclusive period” for this age group to be able to self-schedule their vaccination.

“The process [of vaccinating children] did not stop, it did not stop”, stressed the official, adding that “practically 50% of this age group was vaccinated”.

Of course, he acknowledged, it is “a process of trust that is built over time”. But, he stressed, “more and more people have come to the process, as the process evolves”.
