The constraints due to the strike called by the trade union
organizations representing the carrier's workers were announced this morning on
the company's website, with the exception that the information is "subject
to change at the last minute".
The service will return to normal from 06:30 on Wednesday
(26 October).
In statements to the Lusa agency, Anabela Carvalheira, from
the Federation of Transport and Communications Unions (FECTRANS), confirmed the
24-hour strike of ML workers for better working conditions and salary
increases.
ML workers had already scheduled a strike for October 12,
which was later called off because minimum services had been decreed, but the
unions delivered a new strike notice for Tuesday, the 25th October.
